This three-week series is intended to be used after a big evangelism push, as both an introduction for visitors or new believers and as a reminder to more mature believers about the work God continues to do in our lives after salvation. “Chapter 2” is about the next steps after salvation, the gifts God graciously provides for us to grow closer to him and into greater Christlikeness—his church, the discipleship of other believers, and his gracious work of sanctification in our lives.
This series is addressing what may be the greatest need in the church. Too often, we leave people without clear next steps they can take after they have surrendered to Christ. So instead of doing that, we can give them direction and this sermon series does just that.
