Necessary Endings

Necessary Endings Sermon Series Idea

From NewPointe Community Church in Dover, OH.

Description: The start of a new year is the time of for resolutions. You are determined to loose 20 pounds, to get out of debt, to eat healthier. But the new year is good for more than just making new goals- it is for leaving the old behind and staring fresh.

Join us for a two-part series, “Necessary Ending”, where we will look at how we can say goodbye to the burdens in our lives that are holding us back, and how we can press forward towards our goals, and a happy and successful life.

Necessary endings in 2013 leads to real change in 2014. The sooner you put an end to things that stall your growth, the better. The end of a year is a natural time for us to stop, reflect, and ask ourselves what we want to take from 2013 into 2014. Do we really want to carry the burden of our failures, mistakes, or drained resources into another year? Or do we want to start in 2014 anew, free of the burdens that kept us from advancing as far as we had hoped to in 2013? What habits, thoughts, and actions must you put an end to, in order to achieve your goals in 2014? The truth is, no matter how wisely we invest in a product, strategy, person or even some relationships, eventually, the season for our investments come to an end. Endings are a natural part of the cycle of growth.

This series will give you the tools you need to say good-bye and move on.
