Many of us have been in a situation where we’ve been on a long trip in our car and our gas light comes on. We don’t know when the next gas station may be, and sometimes we find ourselves running on fumes before we find one. In life, we can also find ourselves running on fumes. We all know the importance of rest and in our culture, there are many avenues of self-care. If we’re not careful though we may find ourselves on an exit ramp leading us somewhere we don’t want or need to be. In this series we look at scripture in Hebrews and find the importance of rest, replenishment, and renewal both physically and spiritually.
