From Grace Church in Waco, TX
A few times each year, the Hebrew people would journey to Jerusalem, a pilgrimage known as the Songs of Ascent. The name comes from the fact that most travelers made their way uphill to reach the Temple. It is believed that these Psalms served as the soundtrack for their travels.
