Following Christ is sure to bring abundant life to the believer. However, the Christian walk was never meant to always be easy. If we look closer there may be some things we wish Jesus would have never said. Statements like: “Forgive others”, “Love Your Enemy”, or “Turn the Other Cheek”. Had he not said these things (and many more) we would be insured to have a much easier life to handle. However, we are thankful for the challenge of living like Jesus lived.
